How does an #InstaTour work? It's simple. Grab your smartphone or tablet and sign up for an Instagram account (if you don't already have one). Once you have your account, follow @lakecountyvisitorsbureau so you can tag us in all your photo entries.
For our e-newsletter subscribers, we will announce each location hashtag on Friday morning, July 25th. For our non-subscribers, check back here on Saturday morning or visit any of our photo locations to get the list of hashtags. Head out to those locations, take a photo, explore, and make sure you use the location hashtag when you share your photo with us. Once you've posted a picture with the location hashtag, you are automatically entered into that site's raffle.
Are you interested in spending the whole weekend and completing the entire #InstaTour? Great! Same rules as above, but once you have registered an entry into every site location, you are entered into our Grand Prize valued at over $250! It's a WiFi digital camera - perfect for beautiful photos on all your vacations.
To claim your prizes, either come to our Sunday, July 27th, reception at Grand River Cellars at 4pm or stop by the Lake County Visitors Bureau office to pick it up the following week. You do not need to be present at the reception for the site raffles, but you DO need to be present at the reception to win the Grand Prize.
Raffle entries (aka Instagram photos) are accepted from Friday, July 25th, at 8am through Sunday, July 27th, at 3pm. Keep in mind that by entering our #InstaTour, you are giving us the rights to use your photos in our marketing and publicity. We will, of course, give you the photo credit.

Following a fantastic exhibit at the Holden Arboretum in 2013 which featured 15 Instagram photos chosen out of 100+ entries, the need for a larger event was obvious.
